The Department of Research Advancement is being developed as part of the Professor Adei Studio for Research Excellence.

This department will be tasked with supporting faculty research and scholarship; coordinate the acquisition of research grants to support scholarly research, and research grant reporting; quality assurance; and innovation, service and impact initiatives.

Faculty PD Over the Years

The sustained growth of faculty members is imperative to the success of the University. As a result, Ashesi provides training and development opportunities to assist faculty in their roles as teachers, scholars, mentors, and professionals. At the end of each academic year the Provost’s Office hosts a Faculty Development seminar, in collaboration with partners from other universities and institutions. Trainings include but are not limited to inclusive teaching practices, scholarship and pedagogy.
